A note on expectations: Cambridge Naturals operates within the society in which we live. As much as we passionately strive to create an oasis of wellbeing, community care and peaceful coexistence, we are also a self-funded, small, brick and mortar retail business doing our best to survive in a highly competitive capitalist economy. We aim to pay competitive wages and great benefits for retail work, and are also beholden to the willingness of customers to pay certain prices for consumer goods. Working at Cambridge Naturals means working in a fast-paced retail environment, with all of the excitement and chaos that entails. We have customers across a broad spectrum of belief systems, demographics, personalities, and needs. The work involves many different tasks that may require physical effort, emotional maturity, patience and good humor. We expect that our employees will be able to navigate this environment on a daily basis with courage and compassion.
