We are seeking an energetic, engaging, and experienced host to lead interactive pasta-making classes as part of a guided food tour experience in Little Italy, NYC. Each class welcomes approximately 12–13 guests who will learn to make fresh pasta before enjoying the meal they have created together.

The ideal candidate is confident speaking to groups, passionate about Italian food and hospitality, and enjoys creating memorable experiences for visitors from around the world.

One of our guides will be leading a food and walking tour prior to the pasta making session, the group will meet you at the venue. The guide will remain during the class portion to help host the group.

Responsibilities

Welcome and engage groups of 12–13 guests in a fun, professional manner.
Lead hands-on pasta-making classes from start to finish.
Clearly demonstrate pasta-making techniques while encouraging guest participation.
Keep the class on schedule while maintaining an entertaining and interactive atmosphere.
Share interesting facts about Italian cuisine, pasta traditions, and the local neighborhood.
Ensure guests feel comfortable, included, and supported throughout the experience.
Coordinate with restaurant staff to provide a seamless dining experience once the pasta is prepared.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company with professionalism.

Qualifications

Previous experience leading cooking classes, culinary demonstrations, or interactive workshops.
Experience hosting events, or groups of 10 or more guests.
Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal communication.
Passion for Italian cuisine and hospitality.
Ability to manage group dynamics while keeping the experience fun and engaging.
Reliable, punctual, and highly organized.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting when needed.
Food Handler's Certificate.

Preferred Experience

Pasta-making experience.
Event hosting background.
Experience working with domestic and international travelers.
