Job description
We're expanding our kitchen team and looking for a Production Cook to help meet the growing demand for our weekly meal delivery service. This hands-on role focuses on preparing and cooking large quantities of food, including proteins, grains, soups, sauces, and other menu components. We're looking for someone who takes pride in cooking good food well, can work efficiently in a high-volume environment, and has a strong attention to detail.
This is a part-time position with a required Thursday–Saturday schedule. Optional Wednesday hours are available if you're looking for additional hours. We are specifically looking for someone who is comfortable with a long-term, part-time role.

Schedule:
Thursday 9AM – 5PM
Friday 9AM – 5PM
Saturday 8AM-1PM
Our perfect production cook:
- is comfortable working with large quantities of food
- follows directions well and has an eye for detail
- works independently but is open to collaboration with a team
- takes pleasure in cooking good food well
- can own a project
- communicates calmly and clearly under pressure
- honest, loyal, dependable and proud of their work
- able to work with a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality
- has a minimum of one year professional cooking experience, bonus if it was in a high volume kitchen
Specific tasks:
- cleaning, preparing and roasting chicken and other proteins
- cooking pasta and grains
- browning and grilling chicken and beef
- following recipes to produce delicious dressings, sauces, and soups
- portioning and packing meals
- end of day clean up
Compensation:
- competitive pay starting at $20-24 an hour
- paid vacation after 90 days of employment

Compensation
