Job description

Seeking a shift lead/shift captain to join our wine bar's tight-knit team. Great people, great hours, great pay!

We're looking for an experienced, dependable shift captain to help keep service running smoothly and make sure every guest has a great experience. If you love hospitality, stay calm under pressure, and know how to support a team while keeping the floor humming, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

ADMIN:
- Staff Schedule
- Payroll
- Operating Square / Updating Square Menus/ Assisting with Square issues
- Accepting deliveries (baldor, wine, amazon)
- Ensuring we are DOH ready
- Ordering supplies
- Edit menus (indesign), print menus
- Updating by the glass doc
- Organizing by the glass boxes and shelves
- General organization (cellar, corridor, bar shelves)

SERVICE:
- Leading Pre Shift Opening
- Managing/Overseeing service
- Assigning sections
- Delegating tasks
- Making sure staff are on track to open
- Making sure staff are doing what they're supposed to do
- Serving a small section
- Cutting staff at the appropriate times
- Help mitigate/resolve any questions OR staff conflicts professionally and responsibly
- Call services for emergencies (plumbing, Auto-Chlor, etc.)
- Relay any issues with service/staff to GM.

PAY
Admin Hourly: starting $25
Service Hourly: starting $22/hr
Points in Tip Pool: 1

PAID TIME OFF
1 week (cannot conflict with other manager s PTO)
In effect after 3 months

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $16.50 - 20/hr
