Job description
Manage food production, including fermentation, packaging, food safety and procurement to ensure high quality products are made on time and according to specifications. Familiarity with food safety principles and rules, and HACCP essential.
Requirements:
- Ability to learn new skills, work under pressure and lead a team of about 25 (essential)
- Attention to detail (essential)
- Ability to troubleshoot machines and processes (preferred)
- Food safety skills (HACCP, GMP and SQF) or ability to learn them fast (essential)
- Fluency in Spanish (preferred)
We are open to a relatively inexperienced person who is highly motivated and who learns fast.
Our products are vegan but you do not have to be.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $75,000 - $100,000
