Gustiamo is a Direct To Consumer importer of real Italian food. Since 1999 we have been independently importing the best and most authentic food Italy has to offer. In addition to our online store, we also have a robust wholesale program.

Job description

The Social Media & Content Creator is the voice of Gustiamo across social media. Working in collaboration with and under the supervision of the Gustiamo marketing team, you'll create engaging content, grow our online community, and bring the stories of Italy's best farmers and food makers to life across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

What You'll Do

• Create, shoot, edit, and publish Reels, TikToks, YouTube videos, Stories, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Write captions and manage the social media content calendar.
• Build and engage our online community through thoughtful community management.
• Collaborate with creators, influencers, and media partners to expand Gustiamo's reach.
• Coordinate Meta advertising campaigns and monitor content performance, audience growth, and analytics.
• Organize and archive photos, videos, and creative assets for future use.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience creating content for social media, preferably for a food, lifestyle, or consumer brand.
• Strong photography, video production, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Excellent writing skills and a strong visual eye.
• Passion for Italian food and culture.
• Speaking Italian is a plus.

Location
This is a full-time, in-person position at the Gustiamo headquarters in the Bronx, NY.

Our warehouse is the heart and soul of Gustiamo. It's where products arrive from Italy, orders are packed, and our story comes to life every day. We believe it's impossible to tell that story authentically without experiencing it firsthand, which is why this role is based on-site.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
