Row 7 is hiring an E-commerce Fulfillment Assistant in a full-time, seasonal role based at our warehouse in Newburgh, NY. The E-commerce Fulfillment Assistant is an integral part of the Row 7 team, supporting all aspects of the e-commerce fulfillment process during our busiest season of the year. You'll work closely with the Warehouse and Fulfillment Manager as part of a small, collaborative team. This is a hands-on role for someone who works accurately at a steady pace, follows clear processes, and wants to be part of a food business.

JOB CLASSIFICATION - Full-time, Seasonal, Non-exempt

REPORTS TO - Warehouse and Fulfillment Manager

LOCATION & HOURS - On-site, Newburgh, NY, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

TIMEFRAME - AUGUST 2026 - FEBRUARY 2027 (ONE POSITION) & NOVEMBER 2026 - MAY 2027 (ONE POSITION)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse & Fulfillment

• Support daily order fulfillment under the direction of the Warehouse and Fulfillment Manager, including packing and checking orders, and coordinating daily shipments through multiple e-commerce platforms
• Coordinate seed packing and restocking
• Assist with regular seed and packaging inventory reporting
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Other warehouse tasks as needed or assigned

Customer Support

• Assist with order updates via email in the event that the Customer Support Associate is unable

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• General computer literacy, including G Suite
• Working knowledge of Shopify, ShipStation, Faire, and Airtable is a plus but not required
• Interest in food systems and organic agriculture helpful, but not required

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS

• A skilled verbal and written communicator
• Proactive and can work independently
• Able to follow directions and standard operating procedures
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities
• Able to set an efficient and accurate pace of work
• Able to stand for multiple hours a day
• Capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)

DETAILS

• The E-Commerce Fullfillment Assistant is a full-time, seasonal, non-exempt position
• This on-site role is anticipated to be 40 hours per week, Mondays through Fridays
• The target pay range for this role is from $22 - $27 per hour
