Position Overview

We are a high end meal delivery service is seeking a dependable courier to deliver weekly meals to clients in Manhattan and return containers to our studio in Brooklyn.

Responsibilities

• Pick up weekly meal delivery boxes for approximately five clients from the commissary studio in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
• Deliver meal boxes to clients' homes in Manhattan (all locations are below 14th Street).
• Collect containers from clients' previous deliveries.
  Return all collected containers to Red Hook in the same trip.
• This is a freelance position requiring availability every Monday. If a delivery falls on a federal holiday, deliveries will be rescheduled to the following day.
• Couriers are expected to arrive at the studio by 4pm. The complete delivery route, including the return to Red Hook, typically takes under 2 hours.

Requirements

• Reliable car in good condition with space to transport up to five meal boxes.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record required to fulfill job duties.
• Comfortable driving throughout New York City.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Comfortable interacting with clients during pickups and deliveries.

Ideal Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
• Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and efficiently plan delivery routes.
• Experience as a prep cook is ideal (though no required)
• Positive attitude and a love of food!

Compensation
$200 per shift
