Job description
This is a job with purpose. While this position has specific duties, the right person will become a full member of our mission driven team.
The part time position of Operations Assistant is an essential part of our business. Receiving an order is the last step a customer has with the Community Grains shopping experience and we want it to be a positive one, therefore, accuracy and how orders are packed and shipped are crucial for its success.
While this is the basic part of this position, we have many needs and this person would/could/should cover additional roles in marketing, sales, administration, nutritional density/farming research and product development.
DUTIES
Direct Markets –
Process and pack orders
Arrange shipping and or deliveries
Maintain inventory
Keep necessary reports and paperwork
Distributor Orders
Process orders.
Access Warehouse Portal
Maintain inventory
Warehousing and Shipping
Fulfillment
Process orders from web site
Pack orders
Arrange shipping
Maintain inventory
Keep necessary reports and paperwork
Address customer complaints/comments and communicate product safety and quality issues to operations manager as needed
SCHEDULE
Hours are somewhat flexible, Tuesdays and Fridays desired, 15 to 25 hours per week.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $28.00 - $30.00
