Pierogi Boys Market is a neighborhood-focused Polish grocer and deli in Ridgewood, Queens. We specialize in carefully sourced cheeses, charcuterie, prepared foods, pantry staples, and specialty products from Poland and beyond. We are looking for a full-time team member who enjoys food, hospitality, and helping customers discover something new.

Responsibilities

• Work behind the cheese and charcuterie counter, slicing, wrapping, and serving products
• Assist customers with product selection and recommendations
• Make and serve sandwiches and other prepared deli items
• Maintain attractive, well-stocked cheese, deli, and retail displays
• Assist with shelf restocking and merchandising throughout the market
• Receive, organize, and rotate inventory following FIFO practices
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked throughout the day
• Support day-to-day market operations as needed

Qualifications

• Interest in cheese, charcuterie, specialty foods, or grocery retail
• Previous deli, café, grocery, restaurant, or food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers
  Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
