Our cafe is a hidden gem, just off of Cheshire Bridge Rd, in Atlanta, GA. The cafe is inspired by Julia's South African-Jewish roots. We serve specialty coffee, brekkie (breakfast), brunch, lunch, cocktails and natural wines daily.
Daily Chew expands beyond the cafe. We create simple, seasonal, and nourishing experiences through our catering, events, and farmer's markets.
Job description
Daily Chew is looking for folks to staff our Atlanta area farmers markets for the upcoming season!
Working at farmers markets is a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, small business owners, and farmers, all while enjoying the outdoors and the friendly farmers market community.
Markets are on Saturdays and Sundays. Shifts start at 6:30AM at the Daily Chew Cafe and end at around 1:30PM in the same spot.
Duties include light cooking, assembling meals, setting up/breaking down, and running the register. Staff may need to use their personal vehicle to transport supplies to and from market.
We ask that you commit to working at least two markets per month.
Must Haves:
- 1 year hospitality/culinary experience
- Must be 18 or over
- Smart phone access (to process credit cards)
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs
- Vehicle to transport market supplies (small tent, coolers, cooking equipment)
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions (hot, cold, raining, etc.)
- Ability to multitask in stimulating environment
- Ability to consistently provide friendly customer service
- Ability to attend periodic trainings
Preferred:
- Restaurant, catering, or farmers market experience

This position is : hourly, $15 - 20/hr + tips DOE
