Job description

We seeking to hire a cheese person to handle our in house cutting program at our main warehouse here in Brooklyn. The job involves cutting our key large wheel cheeses into quarters and halves as the orders come in each day - both for this territory as well as our Northern New England business. To round out the hours this job involves assisting operations team in receiving and preparing outbound orders as well.

The ideal candidate brings at least 2-3 years cheese counter experience, and comfort & skill with breaking large wheels. We are happy to train some in this position with the right individual. Four day work week -Monday through Thursday with about 20-30 hours per week depending on the week and individuals ability to master all three areas of the work.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $23.00 - $28.00
