Company description

Phoenix Fine Wines is a wine bar/restaurant with an emphasis on local, organic foods from area farms and producers. We focus on seasonally available produce, seafood and meats to supplement a lite bites menu. The restaurant is perched on the edge of Passamaquoddy Bay and operates Friday - Sunday during the Fall/Winter months. Wednesday - Sunday during the high season. We are one of only two restaurants in Washington County focusing on local, organic, sustainable food.

Job description

We are searching for a locally based chef who is creative but also understands local needs and tastes. Someone who is committed to working with seasonally available produce and meats and who is committed to working with the community to feed the community. This is a small kitchen and a small winter population. Our relationships with local farmers, fishermen and producers sustain us. Friday - Sunday, dinner service only, beginning at 4pm beginning the week of October 12th.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
