Job description
We're seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Production Cook to join our team. This role creates large batches of prepared products from fully prepped components. We are looking for a cook who follows recipe specs exactly, can confirm taste and quality before handoff, and can keep pace with the day's production volume.
You should be a cornerstone cook, someone we can rely on to push to get the job done no matter how hard the task. Additionally, you will be working as part of a team; your fit with our team is as important as culinary prowess.
Responsibilities
Your main duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assemble menu items from prepped components according to recipe specifications; Correct ratios, method, and presentation every time.
- Confirm taste, seasoning, and quality profile matches recipe standard before an item moves to Pack.
Follow internal recipes exactly; flag any deviation or ingredient issue immediately rather than improvising.
- Communicate clearly with the Prep team on incoming components and with the Pack team on outgoing handoffs — timing, quantity, and quality.
- Follow FIFO protocols for all components and finished items: properly labeled, dated, and rotated.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation, including knives, cutting boards, and equipment, throughout the shift.
- Keep pace with daily production volume without compromising consistency.
- Complete all opening and closing duties.
- Comply with all DOH and internal food safety standards, including temperature logs and sanitation practices.
- Communicate product shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues to management right away.
- Any additional duties or special projects as requested by management.
