Job description
Pay: $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience, availability, skills, and qualifications
Ox Hollow Farm is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and flexible individual to join our team in a varied, hands-on position.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working both independently and as part of a team, and is comfortable with the changing day-to-day needs of a diversified farm business. No two days are necessarily the same.
Farmers Markets & Sales
Help load and prepare vehicles for farmers markets.
Set up and break down tents, tables, displays, signage, coolers, and products.
Assist customers, handle retail sales, and represent the farm in a friendly and professional manner.
Keep market displays stocked, clean, organized, and attractive throughout the day.
Help organize and restock market vehicles and supplies for upcoming markets.
Packing, Inventory & Product Preparation
Pack and organize products for farmers markets and the farm stand.
Package and label eggs, vegetables, meat products, and other farm products as needed.
Wash, sort, pack, and prepare vegetables and other seasonal products for sale.
Organize coolers, freezers, storage areas, crates, bags, packaging materials, and market supplies.
Assist with inventory and identify products or supplies that need to be restocked.
Farm & Farm Stand Support
Make occasional runs between the farm, farm stand, processors, suppliers, markets, and other local locations.
Restock and organize the farm stand and help receive, move, and organize products and deliveries.
Perform general cleaning and upkeep of workspaces, vehicles, equipment, coolers, storage areas, and retail spaces
Assist with seasonal displays and the general presentation of farm retail areas.
General Farm Work
Work outdoors in all seasons and a variety of weather conditions.
Assist with basic animal care as needed, including feeding, watering, bedding, and general livestock chores.
Help maintain clean and organized animal and work areas.
Assist with seasonal farm tasks, harvesting, moving supplies, and other projects as needed.
Perform general organizational and task-management duties throughout the farm.
What We're Looking For
Reliable, punctual, and able to manage responsibilities without constant supervision.
Organized and able to move efficiently between different tasks throughout the day.
Friendly and confident working directly with customers.
Willing to clean, organize, lift, carry, pack, load, unload, and perform physical work.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other seasonal conditions.
Able to notice what needs to be done, take initiative, and follow through on tasks.
Careful with products, equipment, vehicles, animals, and farm property.
Flexible and willing to help wherever needed as part of a small team.
Physical & Driving Requirements
40-50 pounds is preferred. Valid Driver’s license and a clean driving record are strongly preferred because occasional errands and transportation between farm locations may be required

Experience
Previous farming, farmers market, retail, food handling, livestock, or agricultural experience is helpful but not required. We ar willing to train the right person who is dependable, motivated, organized, and willing to learn Schedule
The schedule may include a combination of weekdays and weekends depending on farmers market schedules and seasonal farm needs. Flexibility during our busiest seasons is especially valuable.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $35,568* - $50,000
