Company description
Beautiful Rind is a cheese shop, restaurant, and classroom in Logan Square, Chicago. Everything we do starts with the product: good cheese from good people. We look for producers whose care shows in what they make, and we see our job as highlighting their hard work and craft just as much as selling their cheese.
We also believe great cheese should be for everyone. Our goal is to make it accessible to all people, whether you're a lifelong enthusiast or tasting your first washed rind, and that starts with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where nobody feels out of place or judged.
Since opening in 2020, we've been named one of the best cheese shops in the U.S. by Food & Wine and have won Best Cheesemonger in Chicago five years running. We're proud of that, but mostly we're proud of the people behind the counter and the people behind the cheese.
