Company description
Maple Wind Farm (MWF) is a livestock farm founded in 1999. We produce pasture-raised, non-GMO chicken, eggs, pork, and turkey in Richmond and Bolton, VT and operate a USDA-inspected processing facility that serves 30+ small producers in 6 Northeast states. Our growing on-farm store stocks our entire range of products alongside dairy, healthy staples, unique snacks and more from Vermont and the Northeast, and we run a robust wholesale and home-delivery program.
Job description
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports the farm's multi-channel marketing, communications and sales efforts by creating content and materials that are authentic, informative, and compelling. This person will spend the majority of their time on the farm working as part of the all-farm team, learning about our systems, livestock and processes, and connecting with customers through email and social media marketing.
This role blends creative work (writing, content creation) with deadline-driven projects and requires someone comfortable both outside on the farm and at the computer.
We have recently completed a comprehensive one-year marketing plan that we are operationalizing, so this person both has a robust framework to work within, and will be able to bring their own perspective to this work.

- Content Management + Organization: assessing and organizing our current stock of digital assets (photos, videos etc.), identifying content gaps and creating content to fill those gaps.
- Content + Brand Alignment: reading and understanding brand and campaign documents, guidelines, and messaging, and applying those across marketing materials and content.
- Campaign Strategy: working closely with the General Manager, help strategize on marketing activities and campaigns, both short- and long-term.
