We make delicious things in jars that are inspired by the amazing produce from the Hudson Valley. Our facility in Old Chatham, NY produces jams, jellies, pickles, chutneys & sauces that make for ideal gifts for the holidays.

Job description

Beth’s Farm Kitchen is operating a 2 month long holiday market at Macy’s Herald Square store in Manhattan, NY. We are a small, family-run company, and the investment and success of this market is crucial to the growth of our business.

We are looking to fill a lead position for this market who will be the main point of contact for this temporary retail space.

This person will also be managing and scheduling 2 - 3 other part time sales reps. The daily schedule will have some flexibility and will be developed together - with the owners, the market manager and the NYC based sales team.

This position is full time from October 24th, 2026 - January 5th, 2027. For the right person, we see this position as a gateway for a full time Brand Manager position that can help us increase our brand visibility via event-based and on-line marketing.

Our ideal candidate brings the following to the team:

• Retail and/or sales experience.
• Understanding of Point of Sale systems including payment processing, discounts, returns, etc.
• An eye for merchandising and visual improvement of the space.
• An understanding of, and passion for food!
• Great communication skills
• Ability to organize many details and communicate with the main operation for needs for a smooth and successful season.
• Social Media skills with an understanding of how to communicate outwardly about our partnership with Macy’s and this market.

We are seeking a serious professional who believes that their skill set will help us to make this a vibrant part of our Holiday sales plan for this year and potentially on an annual basis!

Compensation includes an hourly wage and commission.
