Company description
About Retaaza
Retaaza is a B Corp and social enterprise reimagining how local food reaches people and communities. We create stronger markets for farmers while making fresh, high-quality food more accessible through corporate programs, community markets, brand experiences, wholesale distribution, food-access initiatives, and other innovative models.
Our work happens where food, people, place, and purpose come together. From a corporate activation at an Atlanta workplace to a neighborhood market or community event, every Retaaza experience is an opportunity to introduce people to great local food, tell the stories of the people who grow it, and build a more connected regional food system.
About the Role
Retaaza is looking for a Field Marketing Specialist who enjoys interacting with people, creating engaging experiences, and bringing a brand to life in the real world. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in field marketing, experiential marketing, brand activations, events, trade shows, retail experiences, hospitality, promotions, or customer engagement who prefers being out in the field rather than sitting behind a desk. As a Field Marketing Specialist, you'll execute Retaaza's corporate activations, pop-up markets, community events, farm stands, and other live experiences throughout metro Atlanta. You'll be one of the primary faces of Retaaza in the field - creating welcoming environments, engaging customers, merchandising products, sharing our story, operating markets, and making sure each activation represents the Retaaza brand well.
This is a highly active, hands-on position. You'll work from established activation plans and standards while using your judgment to make each experience engaging, polished, organized, and successful. That also means being willing to roll up your sleeves. You'll help prepare products and activation materials, load vehicles, set up displays, move produce, operate point-of-sale systems, break down equipment, and return everything at the end of an activation. If you enjoy the energy of live events, like meeting new people, notice the details that make an experience feel special, and would rather be where the action is than behind a desk all day, this role may be for you.

Bring the Retaaza Brand to Life
You'll often be the person customers associate with Retaaza, so how you engage people matters.

- Help customers connect the food they're purchasing with the farmers and producers behind it.

What Makes This Role Different
This isn't a traditional desk-based marketing job.
You'll spend much of your time where customers actually experience Retaaza—in workplaces, neighborhoods, markets, community spaces, and events throughout Atlanta.
You'll get hands-on experience across field marketing, experiential marketing, brand activation, visual merchandising, customer engagement, and live event execution while working for a mission-driven company.
Schedule & Field Requirements
This is a full-time, field-based position with a schedule driven by Retaaza's market, activation, and event calendar.
Field Marketing Specialists should expect to regularly work scheduled Retaaza corporate, community, and special activations as well as Retaaza’s community markets. Locations and schedules may vary from week to week, but we will try to offer consistency whenever and wherever possible.
Paid working time includes required preparation, loading, travel between Retaaza facilities and activation locations, setup, activation time, breakdown, return travel, unloading, and required closeout activities.
Shifts may take place during weekdays, early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on program needs. Reliable availability and punctuality for assigned shifts are essential.
Some reporting, training, and administrative work may take place remotely or from a Retaaza worksite.
Driving & Physical Requirements
Because this is a hands-on field marketing role, candidates must be comfortable with the physical and logistical side of live activations.
Candidates must:
- Hold a driver's license required to fulfill job duties and meet Retaaza's requirements for operating company vehicles.
- Be comfortable driving company vehicles throughout metro Atlanta.
- Be able to safely load, secure, transport, and unload products and activation materials.

- Be comfortable working in non-climate-controlled warehouse environments when necessary.
