business description
Regenerative Land Steward / Grower Partnership – Fallbrook, CA
We are seeking a passionate grower to steward 1–1.5 acres on our 4-acre event venue in Fallbrook. The land is a former lime orchard that has been regenerating under seasonal cover crops for over five years. Most of the available ground is south-facing with excellent soil and existing irrigation main lines. Further irrigation or small structures can be developed collaboratively if they align with our values.
This is an active wedding venue that is expanding into farm dinners and educational events. The grower’s work will help create a living, productive landscape that enhances the property for these gatherings.
Core Values & Practices We Prioritize
• Regenerative, permaculture, and biodynamic approaches
• Reduced or no-till farming
• Cover cropping and composting
• Increasing crop diversity
• Organic annual cropping
• Soil biology support (including tools such as PhycoTerra)
• Animal integration, managed grazing, silvopasture, and agroforestry
• A natural, tidy aesthetic with clean edges and no mess
The Arrangement
• You keep 100% of everything you grow (flowers and food) and may sell it elsewhere
• We retain first right to purchase what you produce
• You handle all day-to-day land maintenance, weed control, and pest management
• You cover utilities associated with your operation
• You carry required liability insurance (we will add you as an additional insured)
• Access is limited to working hours; no overnight stays
• Any helpers or employees must be vetted and approved by us
• Collaboration on farm dinners or educational events is strongly preferred but not required unless mutually agreed
We already keep chickens and are open to thoughtfully expanding animal presence as part of a regenerative system.
Who We’re Looking For Someone young and deeply motivated by soil health, natural beauty, permaculture design, and biodynamic principles. Hands-on experience is strongly preferred, but clear knowledge, strong work ethic, and genuine alignment with these values matter most.
This is a partnership opportunity rather than a traditional job. Ideal for a grower who wants land access, creative freedom within regenerative principles, and the chance to help shape a productive landscape on an active event venue.
To apply, please send a short note about yourself, your growing experience (or learning path), and why this kind of partnership appeals to you.
