We're looking for a part-time Kitchen Coordinator!

On your shifts, you'd be the person keeping the kitchen stocked, clean and running smoothly; you’re the one members come to when something comes up.

This is not a janitorial job. Members clean up after themselves and we have a janitorial service. Part of your job is to make sure it actually gets done.

What the job includes:

• Managing inventory and supplies. You check what we have, order what we need, and put it away when it shows up.
• Door codes. Setting them up for members and shutting them off.
• Checking members out at the end of their shift to make sure their station is clean.
• Cooler and freezer temperature logs.
• Refilling the restroom and kitchen dispensers on your shifts.
• First responder when a piece of equipment acts up.
• Reading the pest control reports and managing the correction of anything they flag.
• Membership applications.
  • You’ll interact with the applicant starting from the time the application is received.
  • You check that all the paperwork is correct and complete,
  • Submit the health permit application, and follow up when needed.
  • Participate in new member orientation.
  • Assigning storage for new members and monitoring overall storage use.
  • Managing the move-out when a member leaves. They clear out their own things.
  • You make sure it happens on time and that they’ve returned their health permit to us.
• Keeping track of member permits and insurance, and reaching out to members who've fallen behind in payments (Health permit) or when their insurance policy lapses.
• Answering member questions, escalating when it’s really needed.
• Holding members to the house rules.
• A weekly report on Fridays. We'll give you a template for that.
  Schedule

Monday 11am to 5pm Friday 11am to 5pm Saturday 10am to 4pm

About 18 hours a week. Saturdays are a big part of this job, so you need to be available every Saturday.

Someone who puts people first. Members, our janitorial crew, delivery drivers, your teammates. Everyone who comes through the door is treated as a guest in our home.

Someone who is inspired by small businesses. Our members are building something, and you want to help them get where they want to go.

Someone who notices things. If the paper towels are low or a cooler sounds off, you’re on it without being asked.

Someone who fixes the problem, or at minimum, reports it.

Commercial kitchen experience is a plus, but not required. We can teach that.

Spanish speaking is a plus.

We hire for culture and teach the skills.

Pay: $23 to $25 an hour

Compensation
