Company description
Founded in 2010 as a commercial maple syrup farm, today Slopeside Syrup packages a variety of formats of maple syrup supplying primarily food service and athletic nutrition markets (through our brand Untapped). We run two packaging lines both for bottles as well as "stick-pak" style flexible packages.
A "wild harvested" sweetener, pure maple syrup is more than your parents pancake topping. These days, maple syrup does everything from glazing your salmon to sweetening your coffee, all with a improved nutritional profile (it is totally unrefined) as well as the sustainability which comes from the forest from which it is harvested.
Slopeside has grown up a little from our on-farm roots into an SQF-certified facility in Williston, Vermont, our heart remains on the neighboring wooded hillside where sap still gets turned into syrup every spring.
