Smitten Ice Cream (www.smittenicecream.com) is a boutique ice cream company, based in San Francisco. We are a young company, currently with one shop in Hayes Valley, but we're growing quickly and looking to hire an experienced Catering Manager. We're very passionate about what we do, and we're looking for someone who believes wholeheartedly in our concept and who can help us bring it to more people, more often.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:
Lead sales efforts to bring in new catering events, using existing and building upon current network across various industries (corporate events, weddings, black tie events, etc.)
Organize and plan all events, attending them as needed
Negotiate event pricing
Coordinate with district manager on labor and supply needs for each event
Assist with marketing efforts as needed to publicize events and build awareness of our brand
Manage catering section of website
Learn service operations and fill in as needed for events
Help manage onsite events

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Exceptional sales and customer service skills
Extremely organized; a consummate planner
Self starter, works well independently
Great verbal and written communication skills
High energy, gregarious, friendly
Inspiring leader, coach and teacher
Resourceful, adaptable, thinks quickly on feet
At least 4 years sales experience, with well-established network
At least 2 years management-level experience in catering industry
