Chef/Family Assistant Wanted for the Summer of 2013
Location of Job: East Hampton, Long Island.
Job Duration: June 28-September 4. On site living accommodations available.
Job entails: Preparing lunches and dinner (some breakfasts), bartending, shopping for food, occasionally overseeing other staff members, running errands and making pick-ups and drop offs
Requirements - We are looking for a someone who is a talented young chef with a nice disposition who can help assistant a family with their summertime activities. The job is pretty much Wed Night thru Sunday Night every week in the summer. You need to have a car and a drivers licence. We have a small cottage that you can live in for the summer, the house is very close to the beach and to town. This is the ideal job for someone who wants to spend the summer in the hamptons. The job entails a lot of food shopping and preparing meals for anywhere from 4-10 people for each meal. We eat mostly local fish, veggies and meats so you should be able to grill, poach, and broil like a pro. The job can be a bit demanding and stressful, but also a fun and cool job for the right person.
