Job description

44 North Coffee, based in Deer Isle, Maine, is seeking a motivated morning person who has a love for coffee, serving customers, a clean work ethic, and desire to expand their knowledge around coffee roasting and managing a small retail space.

Length of employment can vary, but need solid committment between the dates of June 2 - October 11th.

Daily roles include:

• operating a 5 spot pour-over coffee bar
• bagging organic coffee beans roasted on site
• stocking and managing inventory of coffee brewing equipment
• engaging pleasantly with customers
• maintaining a clean workspace and environment
• assisting with weekly wholesale orders

The ideal candidate will be:

• friendly, happy to assist and educate customers
• capable of working in a small space with 2 other people in a fast pace environment
• can problem solve in the moment
• punctual, clean in appearance, and provide impeccable customer service

Special note: rural job location - must be able to provide own housing and transportation

Compensation is hourly wage based on experience + tips.
