Job description
Full time help on small goat dairy and cheese plant. Starting in Sept. Work involves milking 4 nights per week and working in the cheese plant Sunday through Friday. Full days on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Half days on Thursday and Friday. We produce 290 lbs of cheese per week. We milk 38 goats. Work in cheese room involves help with shipping, help with cheese making, washing cheese forms and tables, shelves, work in the cheese cave, wrapping cheese, affinage work. About 40 hours per week. We are located in the northern part of vermont. Lazy Lady farm has been in business for over 25 years. We produce our own hay and purchase organic grain. We have a registered herd of Alpines and sell breeding stock.
