Job description
Rodale Inc. is seeking a senior nutrition editor for
Runner’s World magazine. This position is located in our Emmaus, PA, office and reports to the executive editor at Runner’s World.
Responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the Fuel department for both the magazine and website
-
Assigning and editing Fuel department pages and nutrition features on a range of topics including consumer news, eating for peak performance, healthy cooking, and weight loss.

Working with art and photo departments to conceive and fine-tune story layouts

Writing daily nutrition items for com. Assigning and editing columns and stories for the Fuel page of runnersworld.com

Appearing in how-to videos on com

Representing Runner’s World at industry and sports-nutrition events.
The ideal candidate will possess:

A demonstrated expertise in nutrition as it relates to sports, specifically running. Contacts in the sports nutrition field: nutritionists, chefs, athletes

At least five years of experience as an editor at a consumer magazine or newspaper

The ability to multitask and work well
