Private Chef

The Culinistas

The Culinistas, a weekly home chef service founded in NYC, is looking for chefs in New York.

Job Description:

Chefs plan a menu of 6-8 dishes that can be mixed/matched to create a week's worth of food based on client's preferences.
Grocery shop for ingredients at local farmers markets, Whole Foods, etc.
Cook the planned menu at the client's home once a week, on a weekly basis.
Store, label and give re-heating instructions for the dishes.
Clean up the kitchen!
Each client represents a half-day time commitment.
Chefs may have as many or as few clients as they would like/this can be a part time or a full time job.
Chefs are encouraged to be creative; there are no set menus that the Chefs must use.

Job Requirements:

Chefs must be Culinary School graduates.
Chefs must be creative, courteous and service-oriented individuals.
Chefs must be, not only excellent chefs, but also socially adept, comfortable in their clients' homes and flexible/easy to work with.
