Opened in 2012 with the help of dozens of independent shareholders, Popolo is founded on the belief that a locally owned and sourced restaurant helps strengthen area agriculture, the vicinity’s economy, and the regional social fabric. Occupying a beautiful historic building in a little Vermont village, we’re looking for a new head chef to shepherd in the next chapter in our continuing growth.
The position is much as you would expect: menu creation and implementation, staff management, budgetary oversight, and working alongside a front of house manager and general manager to continue our progress and eventual expansion.
