Our new cheese shop in Brooklyn needs a foodie to talk and sell cheese and artisan foods.
Join one of the best artisanal cheese producers in the country where everything is still made by hand!
We are looking for full or part time people to work at our new Park Slope shop and likely also spend time at our Soho shop. Possible further help may be needed at farmer markets.
ABOUT
We have combined years of artisan cheesemaking expertise with modern equipment from around the world and age old European sheep farming practices to create Valley Shepherd Creamery. We take pride in being able to educate and involve the visitor in daily life on a real working sheep dairy creating over twenty sheep and mixed-milk artisan cheeses, yogurt, butter.
QUALIFICATIONS
It is critical that you are presentable, into artisanal and fine foods and really enjoy conversation with people!
Lets say that again: INTO artisanal foods!
To train we will have you at the farm for a few days working with us in cheese making and aging.
You must be available 2-3 weekdays and at least one weekend day. Shops are open 9-6.
