Job description
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Sales Analyst will be responsible for analyzing a wide array of Peeled Snacks’ sales data, reporting key conclusions and data-points to Peeled Snacks’ sales team and internal leadership, making recommendations regarding tactical actions to reinforce Peeled Snacks’ corporate goals, and assisting the sales team in executing on those actions. The Sales Analyst will work cross-functionally between the Sales, Finance, and Operations teams, with a focus on supporting the construction of Sales programs and promotions that drive distribution gains and profitability.
Responsibilities
Sales Support:

Provide sales team and Management with analytics around:

ROI’s of trade investment initiatives including new item funding and pricing promotions
-
Price proposals
-
Sales pipeline performance
-
Prepare and update sales dashboards and tracking tools for weekly and monthly meetings
-
Support the creation and implementation of value added business tools and processes that drive activities such as store selling, inventory management, category growth opportunities, and shelf availability
-
Facilitate continuous improvement of sales processes, tools and related performance metrics

Account category analysis and review

Planogram development
Finance Team Support:
-
Contribute to channel / geography strategy development thru analytics and category insights leveraging internal data, market research and syndicated data like Spins, IRI, Nielsen etc.

Coordinate with Sales team to construct detailed sales budgets and forecasts

Facilitate development of product launch plans with sales teams across multiple channels and provide project management support

Product Management: Provide analytical support to product portfolio costing and profitability per SKU and customer

Analyze information to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Prepare PowerPoint presentations for meetings and reporting using materials provided
About You
-
3+ years work experience in related field, food experience desired but not required
-
Excellent analytics skills, and formidable prowess with Excel
-
Ability to analyze, interpret, and present data in a compelling way

Hands on experience with SPINS, retailer and vendor portal data reports a plus

Strong PowerPoint skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to make quick judgment calls on priorities and multitask

Self-starter, resourceful and ability to work independently
