Job description
We are hiring a sales manager based in Texas to cover this vital state and the Southern region east to Florida. The job involves traveling 40% of the time or more. However, there is a solid portion of the job executed from a home office.
Responsibilities include:

Develop incentive programs, pricing structures, and other initiatives to drive growth with our distributors

Visit these markets to conduct trainings, build relationships with managers and sales people, and meet with key accounts and leads

Monitor inventory to make sure these distributors are well-stocked but not over-stocked; help coordinate better product flow between us and them; deal with old, non-selling items

Track sales results and report to them on sales on a regular basis and annually in our market planning process

Identify new areas of growth, relating to geography, channels of sale, and customers

Participate in large tasting events where our presence is needed
Candidates should have the following qualifications:

A passion for sake and Japan, even if sake knowledge is limited

Interest or experience in the food and beverage industry

2-3 Years of experience in field sales

3-5 Years of food or beverage sales experience

Excellent ability with Excel, Powerpoint and other computer programs

BA degree or higher
-
A valid, clean driver's license

Physically ability to carry a 30lb wine bag

Legal ability to work in the U.S.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $50,000 to $100,000
