Who we are: Sweet Stem Farm is a small sustainable farm near Ephrata, Pennsylvania specializing in humanely raised pork, beef, and lamb. We are a “high-touch” farm committed to giving an extra degree of care and attention to our animals.

Summary: As our business evolves and our market grows, we've developed the need for a dedicated foreman to attend to the daily farm responsibilities of helping to care for our animals, pastures, crops, and maintaining and operating our facilities and equipment. After several months of experience and training on the farm, greater responsibility will be given to the foreman in this role. Ultimately the foreman will also be responsible for training and providing oversight of interns in the completion of daily chores, crop work, major projects and various other tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skill set and characteristics to learn complete care and all aspects of animal production for pigs, sheep, and cattle. This position is perfect for someone who likes to work hard and is interested in sustainable agriculture and passionate about animal welfare. Previous experience with livestock is not required.
