Position Summary:
We are looking for a kind and experienced Communications Coordinator who is passionate about food, health, and people to join our marketing team. As KIND is the fastest growing brand of all-natural bars in the United States, this position offers exceptional opportunities for professional growth and advancement through creating, managing, and executing programs for a rapidly growing company.
Roles and Responsibilities include working closely with Director of Communications to develop, execute, and monitor public relations campaigns and increase KIND’s visibility to grow the brand and the business.
Media Relations:

Conduct trade and consumer media outreach aimed at generating wide-reaching coverage for the KIND brand

Seek out and identify opportunities to partner with media for product giveaways

Manage tracking and documenting all print, online and broadcast coverage

Develop ideas/pitch angles to generate steady stream of media coverage for the KIND brand

Assist with planning and execution of desk side tours, media events, trade shows, etc
Influencer Relations:

Support Director of Communications with the development and management of a nutritionist/health care professional program

Leverage influencer relationships to generate media coverage both nationally and in top markets

Research and identify fitting influencers in key markets
Social Media:

Assist in identifying and researching fitting partners for social media promotions

Assist in tracking and measuring efficacy of social media promotions
Brand Communications:

Manage updating of all press coverage to the KINDsnacks.com and KINDmovement.com sites

Assist in the development and drafting of external brand communications such as newsletters and specialty e-communications

Scan industry news and update KIND team members of relevant competitive or category insights
Requirements:
Candidates will possess 1-2 years public relations experience (agency experience a plus) and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills required; Able to manage projects independently; Familiarity with natural food sector preferable but not required; proficiency with Cision preferable. Candidates must be excited about KIND’s healthful and socially-conscious ethos and the opportunity to play an important role in growing the brand.
