Job Description Bien Cuit is seeking a Director of Operations with proven experience in the food industry to handle a wide variety of logistical, financial and managerial tasks on a company-wide level. Candidates should have high standards for performance and the ability to make clear, effective decisions in a hands-on and fast-paced environment. Applicants must be highly self-motivated and thoroughly experienced in the necessities of operating a quickly growing company. This position will include the following duties (and more):
- Managerial oversight and accountability over all company departments
- Budgeting and financial planning
- Acquisition and management of equipment and facilities
- Management of business relationships and licenses
- Development and oversight of vendor relationships and contract negotiation
- Maintenance and creation of management tools
- Cost/benefit analysis and comprehensive operational cost management
Desired Skills and Experience - 3-5 years of Food & Beverage experience
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivated
- Operational experience in a high-level management position in Food & Beverage
- Strong track record of managing and implementing action plans
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Ability to multi-task and manage diverse workflows
- Experience in budgeting and financial projections
- Experience negotiating vendor contracts
- Demonstrated ability to motivate a large and diverse team
- Fluent with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Quickbooks, familiarity with POS systems
- Clear thinker and communicator, with the ability to clearly articulate and influence across all levels of an organization, both internal and external
- Strongly customer service oriented
Compensation
this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $80,000.00 - $110,000.00
