Taza Chocolate is dedicated to the craft of high quality bean-to-bar chocolate that is good for farmers and seriously delicious. We are proud to be the only producers of 100% stone ground, organic chocolate in the US.
We are growing our production staff to create a more robust chocolate-making team. At Taza the Chocolate Makers perform an important role with involvement in all aspects of the day-to-day factory operations. The job will include, but not be limited to roasting cacao beans, grinding and refining chocolate, depositing chocolate into molds, and wrapping chocolate bars/products.
The ideal candidate will have strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and be able to perform detailed handwork quickly, accurately, and consistently. This position requires frequent heavy lifting and long periods of standing on your feet (up to 8 hours per day).
The Taza Chocolate factory runs on a 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. schedule, Monday thru Friday. Flexibility in scheduling is required (2 shifts per day: 7a-3:30p, 1:30-10p).
