Green Top Farms is seeking a Kitchen Manager to run our catering and meal production operation.
We are a rapidly expanding startup - we grow and source local, seasonal ingredients to deliver New York's freshest salads. In our first year, we have experienced tremendous growth to some of the most desirable clientele in New York City and are on course to grow over 500% in the next six to twelve months.
And we want you to help us build something amazing.
The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for preparing our established menu items on a daily basis for individual lunch and dinner clients as well as corporate catering events. You will also have the opportunity to exercise your culinary creativity by designing and executing new seasonal menu additions on an ongoing basis, using the best locally available produce. You will be the leader in the kitchen and over time will hire and manage a team of line cooks. You will also manage inventory, do the necessary purchasing, and have ultimate responsibility for quality of food preparation and compliance with proper sanitation and safety standards.
