Our licensed and nationally accredited Chef’s Training Program has graduated over 2,600 Natural Foods Chefs from over 45 countries who have gone on to have impactful careers throughout the food industry. Natural Gourmet Institute also runs a full array of recreational and advanced learning programming, and a restaurant style “Friday Night Dinner”. Job description NGI is currently seeking a Senior Marketing & Communications Manager responsible for the oversight of the Advertising and Marketing functions. Qualified applicants will be dynamic, innovative and “can-do” professionals who want to join a passionate team dedicated to innovative, intelligent and conscious food education.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive advertising and marketing plan focused on building brand presence, building brand credibility and attracting new students and customers to Natural Gourmet Institute
  • Partner with internal teams to create effective campaigns to generate and nurture leads
  • Develop, write and edit high quality materials including, but not limited to: web and collateral copy, blog posts and press releases
  • Execute media strategy including identifying partners and media buys
  • Oversee the management of the NGI website, including but not limited to, content creation, technical management, and new features and functionality development
  • Responsible for maintaining the brand identity system
  • Responsible for managing the Marketing and Advertising annual budget
  • Support the CEO as required
  • Manage one direct report, manage 3rd party vendors and provide indirect management of teams as needed
  • Provide regular reporting on campaign performance, acquisition costs, and other items as needed

Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience with SalesForce and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and practices
  • Knowledge of media buying and partner selection
  • Experience with P&L/departmental budget planning and management

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years relevant Marketing & Communications experience in an agency or in-house setting, with a strong digital focus
  • Exhibited interest in and passion for the culinary industry - specifically in the health, wellness and sustainability realms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, entrepreneurial small business environment
  • Demonstrated customer-centric focus
