The Dewberry, a new luxury hotel located in downtown Charleston, SC, is currently seeking an innovative and talented Executive Chef to oversee all culinary and back of house operations including Henrietta’s, The Living Room, In Room Dining and Banquets and Catering.
Henrietta’s: a brassiere by foundation, southern by region, pays tribute to classic techniques and dishes with a touch of contemporary execution and presentation.
The Living Room: Meant to be inviting and serve the needs for any part of the day, offering a specialty cocktail menu and small plates.
Our ideal candidate is passionate, imaginative, and places a strong emphasis on sourcing fresh, local, ingredients that drive the menu. He/she must have held previous leadership roles for a minimum of three years including experience training and mentoring staff, resource management and maintaining food and labor costs. Previous hotel experience preferred.
Pay is negotiable and will commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive benefit package including 100% employer paid life insurance, short term disability and long term disability.
