Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
Reports to: VP / General Manager, Earthy Delights
Compensation: Base Salary plus commission
Location: Chicago
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maximize sales in the Greater Chicagoland Area by providing exceptional customer service and creating long-term, quality relationships with key professional chef contacts.

Understand customers' specialty food needs and expand customers' awareness of Earthy Delights' entire line of products and their application in a commerical environment.

Build relationships through customer visits, calls, and cold calls.

Manage order confirmation and entry of orders.

Prospect new customers as well as maintain a current customer base.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Ideal candidate will possess 3 to 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the food industry.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related degree.

Candidates must be willing to travel up to 75% of time with limited overnight stays.

Requires strong computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet software.

Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, comfortable working with little or no direction, and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
