Eats, Broadway Bites, Garment District, and Dekalb Market along with the Bryant Park Holiday Shops, Union Square Holiday Market, Grand Central, and Columbus Circle Holiday Markets. We also have opened our permanent food hall, Urbanspace Vanderbilt, with plans to launch our second later in 2017.
Job description
POP-UP MANAGER:
- Project manage and liaise with Business Improvement Districts for pop-up markets and food halls
- Assist Holiday Market Director & Food Market Director as needed
- Oversee POS system and percentage sales model
- Assist sponsorship team with potential partnerships and sponsorships of Urbanspace markets
- Assist with phone answering, bill collecting and office management as needed
- Answers phones and fields questions from vendors & others
- Keep all projects on schedule
- Provide general support for team as needed
- Files necessary paperwork for operating licenses and permits: SLA, DOH
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in an office environment
- At least 3 years experience working in F&B or Retail
- High-functioning people skills
- Excellent writing & communication skills
- Organization, prioritization and time-management skills
- Ability to creatively solve problems
- Energetic
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Quickbooks, Salesforce a plus
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $50,000 to $100,000
