Job description
The International Culinary Center is seeking an education program coordinator to work within the Education Department. This is a full time; Monday through Friday position however some evening and weekend hours will be required, so a flexible schedule is necessary.
Duties include working with the culinary, pastry and wine departments in order to assist in executing specialized programming and events, conducting administrative duties pertaining to educational programming, planning for and assisting in the execution of classes and workshops, and coordinating with adjunct instructors and external ICC partners during the planning stages of programs and events.
This position will also provide coverage to the library circulation desk. In addition, the education program coordinator will maintain coursework and textbook inventories and may be involved in food or equipment orders and provisioning for events and classes.
This position is ideal for a detail oriented, professional, and reliable person who has a passion for food, beverage, and education. Candidates should enjoy collaboration, should have strong organizational, communication, and computer skills. A strong focus on customer service is imperative and some previous experience working with food and/or beverage or in education is preferred.
