ISSUE NO. 436

THE BEST GIFTS ARE SOMETIMES NOTHING AT ALL . . .

After we hit send on our newsletter last week, we came across several other great reads in regard to making the most of the holiday season (some of which we linked in the tidbits sections below).

Our primary takeaway from all of them is that it's important to honor and appreciate the things that really matter to you. Sometimes that means saying 'no', or making a 'to don't' list to complement your 'to do' list. Other times that means recognizing the things that provide you with real wealth. The trick is striking the balance between rest and celebration.

We wish you a warm end to this year and a vibrant start to 2019. We're signing off of our newsletters for the next two Tuesdays. We'll miss you, but we will enjoy huddling around the stove and time at the table - as we do our best to rest and to celebrate.

Looking forward to reconnecting in the new year.

Cheers,

Tay + Dor

what we’re reading / listening to / watching / noticing / thinking about / captivated by this Tuesday…

If you crave a quiet, slow holiday season.

Robert Horton aka Rob 'Veggies' shows us how we can shift our energies and intentions.

We love reading articles and books by the fire. This one is a good leisurely read for those who are interested in good food jobs.

For anyone else whose love of food first stemmed from a love of baking.

got a tidbit? drop it here for us, and you just might see it in next week's newsletter.
