About the Role:
We're looking for a teambuilder to join our Los Angeles foodhub. The teambuilder plays a crucial role in cultivating our culture through recruiting, training and team engagement. Responsibilities:
Training: continuous improvement in people
• work with subject matter experts to create job-specific training programs
• work with central support team and hub teams to design and run the hub-specific immersion program and cross-training programs
• facilitate the continuation of our feedback program in the hub
Recruiting & Internal Promotion: continuous improvement in people
Work with team leads on:
• role definition (expectations, connection to our mission)
• recruiting new employees for the foodhub (works most closely with the operations team)
• creating opportunities for internal promotion
• new employee onboarding
• manage training and recruiting budget
Team Support
• work with team leads to onboard new team members
• work with the foodhub coordinator and city lead to design and execute internal events for the purpose of company and team building
• answer team questions re: benefits, perks, budgets/spending, payroll, advancement with the company, business and HR questions
Relevant Experience:
• Hiring
• Project Management
• Teaching, training or coaching
• Sociology
• Workforce development
• Service in the military
• Note: HR experience is not required or desired.
