Job Description
Fast paced Branford Cafe serving breakfast, lunch, and prepared foods is seeking a part-time assistant manager to assist the general manager. We are looking for upbeat, high energy, customer focused candidates who enjoy working as part of a team.
Job Duties:

- Assist in all aspects of customer service including seating customers, helping take orders, filling special requests, and ensuring that food is delivered promptly.
- Help support floor staff during busy breakfast and lunch periods
- Assist customers with specials requests or special orders.
- Help ensure that all side work is done and service is ready for the following day.
- Help maintain inventory of any an all items related to running the restaurant.
- Communicate with kitchen staff regarding special requests or customer concerns.
- Work closely with general manager to ensure that the restaurant is staffed appropriately.
- Smiles, pleases, and thank yous!
- Previous restaurant management experience
- Lead waitstaff experience
- Breakfast experience is a plus
- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems
- The ability to lift 25lbs
- The ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- The ability to stand on your feet for up to 8 hours a day.
