We make everything in-house, using fresh fruit & herbs. Our sodas are sold at a variety of outdoor mobile locations as well as sold at restaurants like Blue Hill, Palo Santo and a variety of other bars & restaurants in the city. We pride ourselves on the quality of our ingredients and the inventive flavors that we create (we have over 30 different flavors!) and are looking for a kitchen manager to join our young but growing team!
Our ideal candidate has 2-3 years kitchen/ brewery/ food production experience,, and a refined palette. This a great position for someone looking to build a career in the food and beverage industry. As the Kitchen/Production Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the growth and direction of the company.
Responsibilities:
- developing new recipes
- overseeing production of the soda
- food prep and cleaning
- working closely with the founders to ensure kitchen is run efficiently
- some administrative work (ordering fruit and supplies)
- maintaining sanitation and cleaning protocols
- assisting with managing and scheduling of staff
- 2 plus years working in a kitchen/ brewery or in commercial food production
- recipe development experience
- able to 35 + hours a week, including the occasional weekend day
- NYC Department of Health Food handlers Certificate a plus
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record a plus
