Job Description OPERATIONS TEAM MEMBER 

We are an ambitious team that is building the marketing and distribution infrastructure to connect local, sustainable farms directly to consumers.  Walden is a start-up sustainable, local food distribution company seeking ambitious individual for a full time operations team member position.  

The individual will be hired to help prepare, drive and deliver monthly orders to our customers. No CDL required. Our offices and warehouse are in Wilmington, MA convenient to the Wilmington Commuter Rail station and 93 North.

Responsible for (not limited to):
—Loading & unloading trucks, managing inventory and packing individual deliveries
—Route planning and logistics
—Truck upkeep and maintenance
—Reading complex route sheet and noting difficulties with any deliveries
—Updating delivery information to maintain accuracy
—Exercising good judgment and attention to detail when delivery problems arise
—Answering basic customer service inquiries
