Hello!
At Noshy, the newest cookie company in Northern Virginia, we pride ourselves in using local ingredients and producing mouth-watering cookies in very small batches by hand. We are a one-woman company launched in early 2014 and we're expanding fast. We need a few enthusiastic people to help us sell our memorably scrumptious cookies at various markets in Maryland, Virginia and DC.
The primary responsibilities for these positions are the transport and sales of our wonderful cookies and cookie tins. You will also be responsible for simple inventory, cleanliness and organization at the market booths.
We're looking for people with friendly, cheerful and enthusiastic personalities which are fitting for selling at holiday markets. The ideal candidates will be able to relate personally to our company and have their own modes of transportation with space enough to transport goods. Though not necessary, flexible schedules are awesome.
THE BASICS:
* $10/hr and employee discounts on cookies
* 3-15 hours/week
* Must have your own, reliable transportation with space enough to transport cookie bins.
* You may have the opportunity to do some production work hand packaging our cookies.
* While we need people to sell at our indoor markets, we also need local people who don’t fear the cold!
LOCATION OPPORTUNITIES:
* The Bethesda Farm Women's Co-op on Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, Maryland on Wednesdays, Fridays, and/or Saturdays (indoors)
* The Leesburg Farmers Market in Leesburg, Virginia on Saturday mornings (outdoors)
* Various Holiday pop-up markets in the DMV (indoors and outdoors)
