Available Position: Buyer/Replenisher 

Reports to: Grocery Manager 

Core Responsibilities:
  • Support inventory strategies and established customer service objectives to ensure the correct product mix is available during the right time.
  • Manage ongoing grocery replenishment orders to meet The Market’s demand while balancing strategic objectives and cost and supply constraints.
  • Assist Grocery Manager in developing optimal replenishment methodology for grocery products based on order history data.
  • Analyze data to generate optimal store replenishment parameters.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to execute selling strategies to achieve sales and margin targets.
  • Collect marketing data to establish parameters for grocery allocations, replenishment methodology and suggested orders.
 Business Requirements:
  • Create reports to monitor inventory levels and proactively communicate grocery inventory concerns.
  • Ability to analyze data.  
  • Communicate with employees to align business objectives and contingency plans.
  • Identify and recommend suggestions to improve ordering process and business results. 
 Team Building and Development:
  • Develop supportive relationships with stocking and receiving team through effective communications and strategic handling of tactical issues.
  • Provide mentorship and training on systems and processes to other employees. 
  • Work with other departments to establish and maintain a positive team culture and environment built on respect.
 Compensation: 
  • $18-$22 per hour
  • Excellent Vacation Package
 Summary of Experience:
  • 2-3 years experience in either grocery stocking/receiving, replenishing or supply chain management.
  • Progressively responsible retail experience
 Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Proven strong conflict resolution skills in stressful or adverse situations.
  • Ability to act with a “customer comes first” attitude and deliver customer service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.  
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google.
 Physical Requirements and Basic Qualifications:
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include a total of 40 or more hours per week.
  • Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Extended periods of standing/walking.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling or crawling.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps.
  • Must be able to utilize computer or POS Register for extended periods, while receiving detailed verbal information.
  • Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances.
  • Must be authorized for work in the U.S.
