Our pigs spend their days rooting in our woodlot, our lambs eat exclusively grass and our chickens run around the farm as they please. We're continually inspired by the local, sustainable food movement and are excited to support it. We raise and sell grassfed beef, lamb and goat, pastured pork, chickens, ducks, turkeys and eggs. We have half and whole pigs available, as well as whole lambs and goats.We also have vegetables available in our farm store and a vegetable CSA that runs from June to October for 21 weeks. We have an immediate need for a Farm Store Clerk who is excited to work with local food and build relationships with our customers. This position is 40 hours per week, Wednesday through Sunday.
 

Responsibilities include setting up the vegetable display in the farm store, maintaining inventories of vegetables and meat, and managing retail sales. This position will also coordinate CSA pickups for our 125 member Vegetable CSA and attend our Sunday farmers market in Kittery, ME. Ideal candidates will be community minded and excited about working to distribute local food. Prior experience working on farms or in customer service is not required, but is preferred.
 

This position will begin immediately and run through October 2017. It is a full time position, with scheduled days on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Evening hours until 7pm are required Wednesday-Saturday, while Sunday’s shift is during the day. We offer competitive hourly pay based on experience.
